Job summary

NIIT Foundation is seeking an educator to work with underprivileged students in the Tumakuru region. The role focuses on preparing and delivering sessions, conducting classes, and ensuring active student participation.

You will counsel students and parents, maintain progress records in the MIS, and assist with outreach and infrastructure support to sustain community programs. This full-time position emphasizes community education and hands-on engagement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sessions using training guidelines and applicable program materials.
• Conduct classes as per the designated schedule and methodology.
• Ensure student attendance and encourage active participation in the sessions.
• Provide counseling to students and parents as needed within the community.
• Maintain progress reports for students, handle MIS tasks, and generate day-to-day reports. Identify and document case studies.
• Assist in student mobilization within the nearby community and support the center in maintaining infrastructure and documentation.

Job Description

1) Preparation of Sessions:

• Prepare sessions using training guidelines and applicable program materials
  

2) Conducting Classes:

• Conduct classes as per the designated schedule and methodology.
  

3) Ensuring Student Attendance and Participation:

• Ensure student attendance and encourage active participation in the sessions.
  

4) Counseling Students and Parents:

• Provide counseling to students and parents as needed within the community.
  

5) Maintaining Progress Reports:

• Maintain progress reports for students, handle internal Management Information System (MIS) tasks, and generate day-to-day reports. Identify and document case studies.
  

6) Student Mobilization and Infrastructure Support:

• Assist in student mobilization within the nearby community.
  
• Support the center in maintaining infrastructure and documentation.
