Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong writing in English; Hindi a plus for local content.

Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and post content on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube Shorts.
• Photograph and film menu items and space; write captions and promos.
• Plan seasonal launches, happy hours, workshops and pop-ups.
• Keep listings accurate on Google, Zomato, Swiggy; respond to reviews.

Role overview

The Marketing Associate grows footfall, repeat visits and online orders for Bloom Cafe. You will run our social media day to day, plan in-store promotions and events, and keep our listings and community partnerships active. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves food, creates content quickly and tracks what works.

Key responsibilities

• Social media: Plan, shoot and post content on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube Shorts; reply to comments and DMs within a day.
• Content creation: Photograph and film menu items, the space and the team; write captions, menu blurbs and short promo copy.
• Promotions and events: Plan seasonal menu launches, happy-hour offers, workshops and pop-ups with the cafe manager.
• Online listings: Keep Google Business Profile, Zomato, Swiggy and other listings accurate, with fresh photos and replies to reviews.
• Influencers and partnerships: Find and coordinate local food bloggers, nearby offices, colleges and brands for collaborations.
• Loyalty and CRM: Run the loyalty programme, WhatsApp broadcast list and email updates to regular customers.
• In-store marketing: Update menu boards, table tents, posters and window displays.
• Reporting: Track followers, engagement, reviews, footfall and offer redemptions; share a short monthly report with next steps.
• Budget: Manage a small monthly marketing budget and vendor payments (printing, boosted posts, photographers).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, mass communication, hospitality or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years in social media or marketing; freshers with a strong personal or freelance portfolio are welcome.
• Confident with Instagram and Facebook, including Reels, Stories and Meta Business Suite.
• Can shoot and edit good photos and short videos on a phone (CapCut, Canva, Lightroom or similar).
• Clear, friendly writing in English; Hindi is a plus for local content.
• Organised, self-driven and comfortable working some weekends and event evenings.
• A genuine interest in food, coffee and cafe culture.

Nice to have

• Experience in F&B, hospitality or retail marketing.
• Basic paid social skills (boosted posts, Meta Ads targeting by locality).
• Existing links with local food bloggers or creators.
• Familiarity with Swiggy/Zomato partner dashboards or POS loyalty tools.
