Job summary

FLSmidth in India is seeking a Product Specialist to be the single point of contact for product lines, manage orders and deliveries, and drive cross-functional project execution. You will collaborate with product line managers, sourcing, and manufacturing teams to ensure timely project delivery and revenue growth.

The role requires a strong techno-commercial mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage risks and deliver results in a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project-based low-volume industrial equipment manufacturing OEM is preferable.
• Strong techno-commercial understanding for successful driving of the projects.
• Good communication skills both written & spoken with global and internal cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Single point of contact for Product lines for new product enquiries, commercials, technical discussion, order confirmation, and order & delivery management.
• Coordinate with Product Line Managers, Order desk managers, strategic sourcing, supply chain, engineering and India manufacturing teams to define project scope, deliverables, work plan and timing.
• Coordinate with business lines for development, revenue growth and forecasting; interface between production, planning, procurement, quality, logistics and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Analyse, evaluate and mitigate program risks; prepare program reports for management and stakeholders.
• Integrate with manufacturing and SCM to support make/buy and localization decisions; produce monthly value, order intake, and rolling forecast matrices.
