FLSmidth is seeking a Senior Product Configuration Engineer in Chennai to develop product models in Tacton Configurator Studio and map them with SolidWorks automation. You will model and detail parts and assemblies, maintain BOMs in ENOVIA, and estimate drafting hours while advancing automation across mining product designs.

The role requires 6–8 years of hands-on SolidWorks experience, knowledge of configurations, AutoCAD 2D, and familiarity with CAD automation tools.

Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of Hands-on experience in part modelling, assembly, and Drawings (Solidworks mandatory).
• Configurations & design tables experience is required.
• Hands-on experience in AutoCAD 2D drawings is required.
• Knowledge of design automation tools preferred (Tacton design automation a plus).
• Good knowledge of Machine design and CAD automation practices.

Responsibilities

• Designing & developing product models in Tacton Configurator Studio.
