Job summary

Mechelonic Welders in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing & Vendor Development Engineer to manage the manufacturing of machine components through our subcontractor/vendor network.

The role requires a strong grasp of manufacturing processes, engineering drawings, materials and practical production methods, plus ability to interact with vendors to ensure parts are manufactured as required. Delhi? (note: location kept as Bengaluru)

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of experience in manufacturing, vendor development, subcontracting or production engineering.
• Practical knowledge of machining, fabrication, sheet metal, welding and other manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, understand tolerances and interpret BOMs.
• Strong vendor interaction, negotiation, follow-up and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on and proactive, with willingness to visit vendors and manage components from drawing to delivery.
• Two-wheeler with license is a must.
