Job summary

Alphaplan Nextgen Autorobotics seeks a seasoned Vendor Development Engineer to build and manage a strong supplier base around Bhosari and nearby MIDC. You will identify, evaluate, and develop vendors for fabricated and machined parts, driving cost reductions and ensuring on-time delivery while aligning with design, production, and quality teams.

The role requires hands-on experience in supplier audits, vendor evaluation, and Zero-Based Costing (ZBC), with strong negotiation and analytical skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 49 years of experience in vendor development / sourcing.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication and machining processes.
• Experience in supplier audits, vendor evaluation, and development.
• Proficiency in Zero-Based Costing (ZBC) and cost analysis.
• Good negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
