Job summary

GEDU Global Education is seeking a Manager- International Visa Services to lead end-to-end student visa operations across Europe, Australia, Germany, Malta, Paris, Dubai, USA, and other markets. You will ensure compliance, optimize processes, and drive high visa approval rates while partnering with Recruitment, Admissions, Compliance, and University Partners.

The role requires senior leadership, a strong understanding of visa regulations, and a passion for delivering exceptional student

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred.
• 10-15 years of international student visa processing or related experience.
• Minimum 8+ years of team management experience.
• Strong understanding of visa regulations for major study destinations.
• Experience in international student recruitment organizations, universities, or education consultancies.
• Proven track record of improving visa success rates and operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end student visa operations across multiple destinations.
• Ensure timely preparation, review, and submission of visa applications.
• Establish standardized visa processes, SOPs, quality checks, and SLAs.
• Monitor progress and resolve complex visa cases.
• Drive operational excellence to improve visa turnaround times and student satisfaction.
• Manage visa refusals, appeals, and reapplication strategies.
• Lead and develop a team of visa officers and documentation staff.
• Collaborate with Sales, Admissions, Marketing, and University Partners.
• Track visa performance metrics and provide senior leadership insights.
• Forecast visa volumes and resource requirements based on recruitment projections.

Role Purpose : Job Description.

The Manager - International Visa Services will lead and manage the end-to-end student visa operations across multiple destination countries, ensuring high visa approval rates, compliance, operational efficiency, and exceptional student experience. The role will work closely with Recruitment, Admissions, Compliance, University Partners, and external stakeholders to support enrolment growth objectives while minimizing visa risks.

Key Responsibilities

Visa Operations & Service Delivery

• Manage the end-to-end student visa application process for international destinations including the Europe, Australia, Germany, Malta, Paris, Dubai & USA, and other key markets.

• Ensure timely preparation, review, and submission of visa applications in line with embassy and immigration requirements.

• Establish standardized visa processes, SOPs, quality checks, and service-level agreements (SLAs).

• Monitor application progress and proactively resolve complex visa cases.

• Drive operational excellence to improve visa turnaround times and student satisfaction.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration regulations, visa policies, and compliance requirements across destination countries.

• Ensure all visa applications comply with institutional, embassy, and government guidelines.

• Identify high-risk applications and recommend appropriate interventions.

• Conduct regular audits to ensure documentation accuracy and process adherence.

• Manage visa refusal cases, appeals, and reapplication strategies where applicable.

Team Leadership & Performance Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of visa officers, visa specialists, and documentation executives.

• Define KPIs and performance metrics related to visa approval rates, processing timelines, and student experience.

• Conduct regular training sessions on changing visa regulations and best practices.

• Foster a culture of accountability, compliance, and customer-centric service.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate closely with Sales, Admissions, Marketing, Academic Teams, and University Partners to support enrolment targets.

• Act as the primary escalation point for complex visa matters.

• Build relationships with embassies, visa application centers, immigration consultants, and relevant external agencies.

• Support institutional compliance reviews and partner audits.

Reporting & Analytics

• Track and report visa performance metrics including:

• Visa approval rates

• Visa refusal rates

• Processing turnaround times

• Country-wise visa performance

• Intake readiness status

• Provide regular business insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

• Forecast visa volumes and resource requirements based on recruitment projections.

Strategic Initiatives

• Develop strategies to improve visa conversion rates and reduce refusals.

• Support new market launches and expansion into new destination countries.

• Implement automation, technology solutions, and process improvements to enhance efficiency.

• Partner with recruitment teams to improve student preparedness for visa interviews and documentation requirements.
