You will manage tender preparation, costing and bid submissions, with a focus on cost optimization. Bachelor’s in Electrical, 6–12 years in tendering and costing for international EPC projects, and proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/SAP are required.

Qualifications

Job Location: Thane, Mumbai

Job Purpose:

We are looking for an experienced Manager – Tendering & Costing with expertise in international tenders for transmission line, power distribution, EHV substation projects. The candidate will be responsible for tender preparation, project costing, techno-commercial evaluation, bid submission, and cost optimization for international projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end tendering activities for international power T&D, EHV projects.
• Review tender documents, technical specifications, BOQs, drawings and contractual requirements.
• Prepare accurate project cost estimates, including material, manufacturing, logistics, installation and other project-related costs.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from international suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare techno-commercial proposals, pricing schedules, cost sheets and bid submission documents.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, finance, and project teams for technical inputs and cost validation.
• Analyze tender risks, commercial terms, payment conditions, Incoterms, and contractual obligations.
• Develop competitive pricing strategies, maintain costing databases, and identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Ensure timely submission of bids in compliance with client requirements and tender deadlines.
• Support post-bid clarifications, commercial negotiations, and contract finalization.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical
• 6–12 years of relevant experience in tendering, estimation, and costing for international power infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of transmission lines, power distribution & EHV substations projects.
• Experience in BOQ analysis, cost estimation, techno-commercial bidding, and international vendor coordination.
• Understanding of international tender conditions, taxation, logistics, customs, and commercial contracts.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/SAP, and tender costing tools.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and commercial decision-making skills.
