Job summary

Lend A Hand India (LAHI) is seeking a Manager – Teacher Training & Educator Capability to build scalable, quality-assured teacher-development systems for school vocational education in Pune. The role goes beyond training design to architecture, trainer capacity building and partnering with government and institutions to sustain these systems.

Qualifications

• Around 10+ years of experience in teacher education, adult learning or educator development.
• Experience designing and managing teacher training at scale.
• Experience with ToT, Master Trainers or cascaded training systems.
• Strong understanding of experiential, practical and competency-based learning.
• Experience observing and supporting teacher/trainer practice.
• Experience working with government education systems.
• Strong facilitation, program management and stakeholder-management skills.
• Comfortable with regular travel to schools, districts and training sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop competency frameworks and capability pathways for teachers and trainers.
• Design and manage large-scale, cascaded teacher-training models including ToT and Master Trainer development.
• Plan trainer pools, batches, deployment and scale across states and districts.
• Establish systems for trainer selection, assessment, observation, calibration and refresher learning.
• Ensure training includes hands-on practice, facilitation practice, reflection, assessment and school-based application.
• Build post-training support through mentoring, teacher communities and refresher learning.
• Work with NCERT, SCERTs, DIETs, state education departments, universities and other institutions.
• Adapt training models to different curricula, languages and state contexts.
• Capture field experience and convert it into reusable training models and resources.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure capability is measured, not just attendance.

Position Overview:

The role goes beyond conducting training. It will be design training architecture, build trainer capacity and support government and partnersinstitutions to eventually operate these systems themselves.

Requirements

MinimumExperience:
