Job Title: Manager – Content & Knowledge Location: Pune
Travel: As per the project need
Position Overview:
To build and manage LAHI's curriculum-linked,multilingual and reusable knowledge and resource system for schoolvocational education.
The role is broader than content production. Itwill help LAHI convert curriculum, technical expertise and implementationexperience into resources and knowledge that can be adapted and used acrossstates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop LAHI's overall content and knowledge architecture.
- Identify resource needs from curriculum, teacher needs,implementation experience and recurring field problems.
- Decide when to reuse, curate, adapt, contextualise, create orretire resources.
- Work with NCERT, SCERTs, state departments, boards and otheracademic institutions on curriculum-linked resources.
- Build a common-core + state-specific approach to content.
- Lead multilingual translation and contextualisation acrossdifferent states and Indian languages.
- Ensure adaptations retain learning outcomes, pedagogy andassessment intent.
- Manage writers, instructional designers, technical experts,illustrators, translators and production partners.
- Establish standards for content briefs, technical review,pedagogical review and release.
- Maintain resource registers, version control, ownership,permissions, review cycles and repositories.
- Capture learning from LAHI's field work and convert it intoreusable frameworks, tools, guides, cases and knowledge assets.
- Use teacher and field feedback to continuously improve resources.
- The source role similarly covers reuse/adaptationdecisions, reusable versus state-specific content, versioning, repositories,rights and conversion of field learning into improved resources.
Requirements
MinimumExperience:
- Around 8–12 years of experience in educational content,curriculum, instructional design or knowledge management.
- Strong curriculum interpretation and editorial skills.
- Experience managing educational content-development teams andspecialists.
- Experience with multilingual content, localisation or state-leveladaptation.
- Ability to work with government and academic institutions.
- Understanding of versioning, ownership, copyright and resourcemaintenance.
- Experience in vocational, practical or experiential education would bean advantage.
- Willingness to visit schools and training programmes to understand howresources are actually use
