• Ensure appropriate policies and standards are developed and implemented.
• Lead a team of specialists with full employee lifecycle responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct HR consulting and coaching with business leaders to solve significant people and cultural issues, providing expertise in technical and regulatory aspects of employment including hiring, termination, performance management, rewards, etc.
• Enable business change by supporting talent aspects of organization structure changes, talent integration related to mergers and acquisitions, etc.
• Advocate HR programs by communicating business value of HR initiatives and managing HR program roll‑outs to minimize business disruption.
• Partner with business, talent management, staffing, and recruiting colleagues on key talent initiatives such as workforce planning, high‑potential employee development, succession planning, etc.
• Serve as final decision/opinion maker in the area, coach, mentor, and train others on the area of expertise.
• Ensure implementation of short‑to‑medium term activities within the business area or support sub‑function in the context of the department strategy.
• Ensure appropriate policies, processes, and standards are developed and implemented to support short‑to‑medium term tactical direction.
• Lead a team of specialists, sometimes with several hierarchical levels, with full employee lifecycle responsibility.
