Job summary

EY Bangalore seeks an experienced Manager-Operations-HR-CBS to lead end-to-end recruitment for the Tax practice and shape hiring strategies in alignment with business growth and workforce forecasting.

You will build pipelines, engage with leadership, and drive data-driven hiring decisions while ensuring a seamless candidate journey and timely onboarding. Experience in Tax or Professional Services is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA in HR preferred.
• 5+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, with Tax/Consulting/Professional Services exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for the Tax practice across levels.
• Develop and execute hiring strategies aligned with business growth plans and workforce forecasting.
• Build proactive talent pipelines for critical and niche Tax roles through market mapping and talent engagement.
• Identify innovative sourcing strategies to attract passive and high-quality talent.
• Act as a trusted talent advisor to Tax Partners, Business Unit Leaders, and HR Business Partners.
• Participate in workforce planning discussions and provide hiring recommendations based on market trends and business priorities.
• Provide regular updates on hiring progress, talent availability, compensation benchmarks, and competitive intelligence.

• Utilize ATS and recruitment technologies to maintain accurate hiring data and reporting.
• Drive process improvements to enhance recruitment efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Monitor hiring trends, competitor activity, salary benchmarks, and talent availability within the Tax market.
• Present actionable hiring insights and dashboards to leadership.
• Recommend data-driven interventions to improve hiring effectiveness.
• Partner with employer branding teams to strengthen the firms positioning within the Tax talent market.
• Support diversity, equity, and inclusion hiring initiatives.
• Build relationships with professional associations, industry forums, and educational institutions.
• Coach and mentor Talent Acquisition team members.
• Drive capability building, performance management, and knowledge sharing.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance recruitment culture.

Qualifications

• Qualifications: Bachelors degree in any discipline. MBA/Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources preferred.

Experience

• 812 years of Talent Acquisition experience, with at least 5 years supporting Tax, Consulting, Legal, or Professional Services hiring.
