Job Summary

The Manager-Strategic Partnership & WEE is a managerial, strategy-oriented role that supports PCI’s engagement with government, donors, and ecosystem partners while contributing to the design and strengthening of women’s economic empowerment initiatives under PCI.

The role focuses on strategic coordination, partnership facilitation, analytical support, and structured communication, working closely with senior leadership and multiple stakeholders to enable effective program delivery and long-term institutional impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Partnerships & Government Engagement
    • Support strategic positioning of PCI with state government departments, donors, and development partners.
    • Maintain structured engagement with government departments to support collaboration, coordination, and information flow.
    • Identify and assess partnership opportunities aligned with WEE and livelihoods priorities, under guidance of senior leadership.
    • Assist in preparation of concept notes, pitch decks, and partnership proposals, ensuring alignment with PCI's strategy.
    • Conduct partner research and stakeholder mapping to identify potential collaborators, technical partners, and ecosystem actors.
    • Coordinate meetings, discussions, and follow-ups with external stakeholders to support partnership development.
  • Strategic Communications, Reporting & Knowledge Support
    • Support development and coordination of strategic communications for projects, tailored for government, donors, and partners.
    • Assist in tracking outputs, outcomes, and key milestones for partnerships and initiatives under WEE.
    • Contribute to preparation of donor and government reports, presentations, and review documents.
    • Synthesize learnings, insights, and evidence from field and program teams to strengthen impact narratives.
    • Ensure external-facing information is accurate, timely, and aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Support senior leadership in planning and strengthening the Women’s Economic Empowerment and livelihoods portfolio.
  • Track relevant policy developments, government schemes, and sector trends to inform program design and adaptation.
  • Assist in structuring program concepts, pilots, and scale-up approaches in consultation with government and technical partners.
  • Support efforts to strengthen partnership ecosystems for WEE & Livelihoods at PCI.
Skill and Competencies
  • Ability to break down complex development and policy challenges, synthesize insights, and support evidence-based decision-making.
  • Comfort working with government officials, donors, technical partners, and internal teams in multi-stakeholder environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of concept notes, presentations, reports, and strategic briefs.
  • Working knowledge of government programs, livelihoods, women’s economic empowerment, and large-scale implementation systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, track deliverables, and ensure timely follow-ups across teams and partners
  • Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt in evolving program and policy contexts.
  • Ability to work effectively across functions, provide constructive inputs, and support senior leadership.
