Job summary

Lauritz Knudsen Electrical & Automation, a unit of Schneider Electric India, invites a Manager – Store at the Vadodara factory to lead store operations, oversee material binning and preservation, and ensure timely issuing of materials to production lines.

The role requires 5–15 years' experience in store management with a Diploma/B.E/B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical, hands-on SAP, and strong KAIZEN/Safety mindset. On-site position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E/B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical is required.
• 5–15 years of experience in store management or related roles.
• Hands-on SAP experience and SKUs inventory control are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage store operations and ensure timely binning and preservation of material.
• Issue materials per production orders and MR to manufacturing shop.
• Post production orders in SAP for issued quantities on a daily basis.
• Maintain documents and control systems to support store activities.
• Control maximum stock levels and conduct perpetual inventory/cycle counts as per SOP.
• Conduct annual physical inventory and stock-take activities.
• Maintain 5S and visual display standards in the store.
• Participate in KAIZEN, TQM, safety initiatives, and training management.
• Ensure accurate SKUs inventory and space utilization per safety norms.

Designation: Manager – Store

Experience: 5 to 15 years

Qualification: Diploma / B.E / B.Tech (Electrical & Mechanical)

Key Responsibilities/Deliverables:

• Store Management,
• Ensure timely binning and preservation of material.
• Timely issuing the material as per production order/MR to mfg. shop.
• Ensure timely Posting of production orders in SAP for issued quantity on daily basis.
• Documents management & Control
• Max, Stock level Control and perpetual inventory/Cycle count as per SOP.
• Annual Physical inventory count/ Stock take activity
• Maintain 5S and Visual Display Management in Store.
• Active Participation in KAIZEN, TQM, Safety Score and Training Management.
• Hands on experience in SAP. Maintaining the SKUs inventory within specified limits.
• Knowledge of Storage Layout and Space utilization as per Safety and Security Norms.
• Need good Communication Skills, to co-ordinate effectively with internal customers.
