Job summary

GMR Group in Odisha is seeking a warehouse operations executive to lead the store team, manage inventory levels, classify items, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. The role involves close coordination with cross-functional teams, external auditors, and adherence to 5S principles.

The incumbent will oversee receipt, storage, scrap disposal, and perpetual inventory management, while driving inventory accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Lead the store team ensuring inventory levels and classifying ABC/XYZ and nonmoving items.
• Close GRN after inspection, clear invoices and manage perpetual inventory.
• Scrap disposal and compliance with standards OHSAS 18001:2007, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, AMS 55001, SA8000.
• Maintain warehouse in 5S philosophy and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Achieve zero deviation in inventory verification with cross-functional team and external auditors.
• Submit monthly MIS and inventory reports.
• Coordinate scrap and hazardous waste disposal and ensure statutory compliance.
• Maintain 5S warehouse environment and ensure operational excellence.
• Coordinate receipt of material, gate passes, weighbridge operation, stock maintenance.
• Conduct internal and external audits and close observations.

Job description

Job Purpose

Lead the store team ensuring inventory level, classifying ABC ,XYZ and nonmoving and slow moving item .Timely closing Good receipt note after inspection of materials clearing all inventory related invoices ,scrap dispossl , managing perpetual inventory management. Executive warehouse operation in following standards OHSAS 18001:2007 , ISO 9001:2015 ISO 14001:2015 , AMS 55001 , & SA8000 and fulfil all compliance to the obligation against these standards. Maintain Warehouse in 5S philosophy.

Key Accountabilities

Achieve zero deviation in every scrutiny process (physical verification) of inventories with CFT (Cross Function Team) / external auditors. Achieve Operational Excellence.

Ensure safe keeping of materials and maintain stores in 5S environment. Achieve Operational Excellence.

Submit Monthly MIS & inventory reports. Achieve Operational Excellence.

Coordination for Scrap, Hazardous waste disposal Ensure Compliance to Statutory Requirements will fulfil.

Ensure strict compliances to company SOP & Policies Achieve Operational Excellence.

Conduct external & internal auditors. Submit closure reports for observation / NC Achieve Operational Excellence.

Coordination for receipt of material / gate passes / weighbridge operation / Maintain stock of Stores Stock items / Maintain bearing bank / Maintain Shelf life item Achieve operational Excellence.
