Job summary

Hikvision India requires an Assistant/ Dy. Manager/ Manager-Stores to support warehouse and distribution operations.

The role involves coordinating with Production Planners, ensuring timely material flow, and maintaining FIFO-storage practices while liaising with QA and other departments to ensure accuracy and smooth production support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in supplying raw materials for SMT and FATP assembly lines, with strong planning, leadership, and inventory

Qualifications

• Experience in consumer durables, EMS, or OEM industries; hands-on involvement in supplying raw materials for SMT lines and FATP assembly lines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Warehouse/Store Manager in planning and executing end-to-end warehouse operations.
• Oversee daily warehouse activities and ensure timely flow of production materials.
• Coordinate with Production Planners for raw material availability and timely inwarding.
• Ensure FIFO storage and proper material stacking; maintain accurate inventory records.
• Liaise with QA daily to secure samples for testing and verification.
• Monitor inward, outward, and despatch processes to meet defined timelines and 0% variation.
• Prepare and review stock reconciliations and reports (physical vs system).
• Ensure compliance with 6S and proper documentation of warehouse records.

Post : Assistant/ Dy.Manager/Manager-Stores

Job Responsibilities :

Ensure effective warehouse and distribution operations by assisting HOD in developing and implementing the policies, protocols and procedures.

• Responsible for assisting the Warehouse /Store Manager in the successful and timely flow of production work.
• Oversee overall work that is set-up during the day related to Warehouse activities.
• Responsible for proper planning in managing the end-to-end Warehouse process.
• Regular liaise with Production Planners and Production Team for timely availability of Raw Material.
• Supply to the production Material in Kitting form
• Monitoring of inward process and ensure proper planning for timely inwarding, unloading and verification of raw-material shipment as per defined timeline.
• Responsible to ensure appropriate stacking and storage of all the materials in Warehouse, using the FIFO principle.
• Regular liaise with QA Team on a daily basis to ensure samples are taken for testing and verification.
• Monitor the turnaround time for inwarding, picking, kitting and despatching process.
• Monitoring of end-to-end outward process and ensure proper issuance of raw materials to Production Team with 0% variation as per defined timeline and if any discrepancies found shall be intimated and resolved immediately.
• Monitoring and maintaining inventory and any deviation or discrepancies shall be action immediately and inform to HOD / Concerned Department.
• Monthly & Quarterly reconciliation or stock audit of all the materials (Physical vs. System) through internal and external team and ensure 100% accurate in inventory across Warehouse with 0% variation.
• Responsible for handling and closure of all vendor rejection material received from Production Team.
• Responsible for signing all the inward and other documents related to Warehouse to avoid any discrepancies.
• Ensure all the issues are resolved related to Warehouse within defined timeframe.
• Responsible for creation of scrap invoice and ensure timely despatch of scrap.
• Responsible for proper checking of bills related to Warehouse.
• Ensuring proper manpower planning and optimum utilization of available resources.
• Communicate with warehouse team on a regular basis to make them aware of priorities, targets and operational requirements.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external team/department to ensure optimal performance.
• Set department objectives/KPIs and evaluate the team performance based on KPIs defined on monthly and quarterly basis.
• To provide guidance and support to Warehouse Team on regular basis.
• Assist HOD in skill improvement of Individual and Team by planning effective training across Warehouse.
• Monitoring and ensure 100% safety of materials.
• Analysis and submission of monthly & quarterly reports with POA related to Warehouse like material inward report, material despatch report, material shortage report, material damaged report, material inventory or stock report, material rejection report, material despatch / outward report, monthly reconciliation report, material scrap ratio etc.
• Monitoring and maintaining 6S in Warehouse by ensuring inspection and compliance to 6S requirements.
• Maintain and ensure all the records of Warehouse are properly documented.

Candidate Profile:

A candidate with experience in the consumer durables, EMS, or OEM industry particularly with hands-on involvement in supplying raw materials for SMT lines and FATP assembly lines would be highly preferred
