Job summary

GMR Group in Odisha is seeking a Store Lead to manage warehouse operations, maintain optimal inventory levels and classify items for ABC/XYZ analysis. You will supervise the store team, ensure accurate receipts, scrap disposal, and perpetual inventory management while upholding 5S standards.

The role requires adherence to OHSAS/ISO standards and strong coordination with internal teams to ensure timely reporting and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Lead the store team ensuring inventory levels and classify ABC/XYZ and non-moving items.
• Close goods receipts after inspection, manage scrap disposal and perpetual inventory.
• Ensure compliance with standards: OHSAS 18001:2007, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, AMS 55001, SA8000.
• Maintain warehouse in 5S philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain zero deviations in physical inventory verification with cross-functional teams and auditors.
• Coordinate scrap and hazardous waste disposal; ensure statutory compliance.
• Submit monthly MIS and inventory reports; ensure safe keeping of materials.
• Coordinate receipt of material, gate passes, weighbridge operations and stock maintenance.

Job description

JOB PURPOSE

Lead the store team ensuring inventory level, classifying ABC ,XYZ and nonmoving and slow moving item .Timely closing Good receipt note after inspection of materials clearing all inventory related invoices ,scrap dispossl , managing perpetual inventory management.
Executive warehouse operation in following standards OHSAS 18001:2007 , ISO 9001:2015 ISO 14001:2015 , AMS 55001 , & SA8000 and fulfil all compliance to the obligation against these standards.
Maintain Warehouse in 5S philosophy.
