• Ensure proposals are accurate, within target lead times, and aligned with pricing policies and discounts.
• Organize team workflows to handle high volumes while maintaining quality and response times.
• Track and improve proposal turnaround time, win ratio, and customer feedback.

Join us on a transformation journey as our Manager, Standard proposals EMEA and CA&I

As the Manager, Standard proposals EMEA and CA&I you are responsible for managing standard proposal team. The team is accountable for preparing timely, accurate, and competitive technical-commercial proposals for standard spare and consumable parts. This role ensures that work is organized for efficient handling of high-volume quotation requests, close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and consistent alignment with customer expectations and internal process standards. The role reports directly to the Head of EMEA and CA&I, and is responsible for maintaining proposal quality, improving turnaround time, and contributing to customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities

Your key responsibilities include the following:

• Owning the end-to-end proposal process for standard spare parts from RFQ receipt to quotation submission
• Reviewing customer inquiries and select appropriate spare parts using internal systems and reference tools
• Collaborating with Sales, Customer Support, Engineering (where needed), and Supply Chain for quick input and validation
• Ensuring proposals are accurate, within target lead times, and aligned with pricing policies and discount structures
• Organizing work in the team to handle high volumes of proposals while maintaining quality, consistency, and response time expectations
• Tracking and improving proposal turnaround time (TAT), win ratio, and customer feedback
  

You will be leading a proposal team located primarily in Chennai, India.

What you bring

You have a proven track-record in managing commercial teams in a fast pace service business. You have strong functional knowledge, as well as the leadership skills to drive high performing teams. To succeed in this role you have:

• Master's Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in proposal management, order execution or supply chain management
• Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working in a global organization
• High sense of urgency and accountability
