Job summary

Institute of Management Accountants, Inc. in Gujarat invites a Manager/Sr. Manager in Finance and Accounts to lead the finance and accounting operations of the company and its subsidiaries.

The role includes supervising monthly closures, ensuring statutory compliance, coordinating with auditors, and supporting financial reporting and MIS in line with SEBI guidelines.

Strong knowledge of Ind AS, Companies Act, GST and tax laws, plus leadership and stakeholder management, are essential.

Qualifications

• CA qualification is mandatory.
• 8+ years post-qualification experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably within Energy or Infrastructure sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Ind AS, Companies Act, SEBI regulations, and taxation laws.
• Experience handling audit processes and statutory financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the complete accounting function of the company and its subsidiaries/joint control entities.
• Oversee timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of statutory dues including GST, TDS, and other compliances.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors for statutory, internal, tax, cost, VAT, and GST audits.
• Assist in preparation and analysis of Monthly MIS reports for management decision-making.
• Coordinate and ensure timely filing of statutory returns including GST, TDS, VAT, Excise, and related requirements.
• Collaborate with group companies on finance and accounts-related matters.
• Oversee preparation of financial statements in compliance with SEBI guidelines and regulatory frameworks.
• Maintain strong internal controls and drive process improvement initiatives.
• Support strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.

Job Summary The candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising the finance and accounting operations of the company and its subsidiaries/joint control entities. The role includes overseeing monthly closure processes, ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance, coordinating with auditors and stakeholders, assisting in financial reporting and MIS preparation, and ensuring alignment with SEBI and other regulatory requirements.
