Job summary

Zetwerk in Bengaluru, India, seeks an experienced procurement lead to manage end-to-end sourcing of plant and factory equipment. You will handle RFQs, vendor negotiations, and contract finalizations for CAPEX and EPC projects, coordinating with engineering and projects teams.

Responsibilities include domestic and international sourcing, import procurement, and landed cost optimization, plus developing supplier relationships and driving cost-reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in procurement of plant & machinery for factory setup, CAPEX, Greenfield/Brownfield, or EPC projects.
• Strong expertise in sourcing mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and industrial equipment, including vendor development, techno-commercial evaluations, and negotiations.
• Experience in domestic/international sourcing, import procurement, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) with a solid understanding of procurement best practices and equipment standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement of plant, machinery, and factory setup equipment, from RFQ to purchase order closure.
• Source and procure production machinery, industrial utilities, electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and factory infrastructure equipment.
• Conduct techno-commercial evaluations, vendor negotiations, cost analysis, and contract finalization.
• Manage domestic and international sourcing, including import procurement, logistics, customs, and landed cost optimization.
• Develop and manage OEM/vendor relationships, conduct vendor evaluations, and drive alternate source development.
• Execute cost optimization initiatives through value engineering, market intelligence, standardization, and strategic sourcing.
• Coordinate with engineering, projects, quality, finance, and logistics teams to ensure timely procurement and project execution.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, statutory requirements, documentation standards, and support internal/external audits.
