Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a Security Manager to oversee safety and security across a Hospital & Hotel complex in Pune. You will ensure deployment of security manpower across all shifts, supervise staff, conduct rounds and manage emergencies.

The role requires leadership, vigilance, and the ability to coordinate with medical and hospitality teams. You will organize drills, control access, and escort VIPs as required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deployment of adequate security manpower in all three shifts throughout the year.
• Train the Security staff on discipline, Grooming, Soft skills, Fire & Safety Management and disaster management
• Supervise the posting of security staff and conduct continuous rounds of the Hospital & Hotel
• Collect intelligence/vigilance reports about employees, patients, relatives and visitors
• Organize fire fighting drills for all employees of the Hospital & Hotel
• Monitor vulnerable areas such as Stores, Laundry, Cash collection areas, parking
• Check misuse/abuse of services like telephone, water and electricity
• Take lead in combating mob violence, bands, dharna etc.
• Organize vehicle parking at the Hospital & Hotel
• Communicate with patients and relatives when required and resolve queries
• Escort VIPs and dignitaries during visits and manage ambulances and other vehicles
• Ensure a proper system for issue and deposit of keys and open areas in emergencies with a guard present
• To ensure that departments/areas open in emergencies are opened in the presence of a security guard
• To ensure that no employee enters or leaves the Hospital & Hotel without proper checking

Job description

• Responsible for the entire safety and security of the Hospital & Hotel building and manpower.
• Ensure deployment of adequate security manpower in all three shifts throughout the year.
• Train the Security staff on turn out discipline, Grooming, Soft skills, Fire & Safety Management and disaster management
• Supervise the posting of the security staff from time to time.
• Take continuous rounds of the Hospital & Hotel and its vicinity.
• Collect intelligence/ vigilance report about the employees, patients, relatives and visitors.
• Organize fire fighting drills for all the employees of the Hospital & Hotel.
• Vulnerable places such as Stores, Laundry, Cash collection areas, parking are watched carefully.
• Misuse / abuse of services like telephone, water and electricity should be checked.
• Take lead role in combating mob violence, bands, dharna etc.
• Organize vehicle parking at the relevant parking area of the Hospital & Hotel.
• Communicate to patients and relatives if required and resolve their queries.
• Escort VIP’s and other dignitaries during their visit to the Hospital & Hotel.
• Manage the moment of ambulances and other Hospital & Hotel vehicles.
• Any other responsibilities entrusted by superiors from time to time.
• To ensure a proper system for the issue and deposit of keys. Also to ensure the implementation of such a system
• To ensure that departments or areas which require to be opened in emergencies, outside of their regular timings are opened in the presence of a security guard.

To ensure that no employee enters or leaves the Hospital & Hotel without proper checking
