Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Senior QA/QC Engineer for civil projects in Maharashtra, focusing on dam engineering, tunnels and underground works. You will oversee QA/QC plans, conduct audits, and coordinate with design and execution teams.

Responsibilities include IS code compliance, documentation, KPI reporting, and integrating QA/QC with EHS and planning. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and NDT methods is preferred.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• M.Tech in Structures/Geotechnical/Hydropower preferred.
• Certification in Quality Management / ISO Auditor / NDT is an advantage.
• Experience in Dam engineering, tunnels, underground works and concrete technology is valued.

Responsibilities

• Vendor/subcontractor quality audits
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned.
• Quality Control (QC) Functions
• Ensure comprehensive inspection and testing of:
• Concrete works (mass concreting, RCC, shotcrete)
• Dam and water conductor systems
• Structural steel, reinforcement, and formwork
• Approve material sources and ensure:
• Calibration of testing equipment
• Monitor and control:
• Field and laboratory testing (site & third-party labs)
• NDT and geotechnical investigation results
• Documentation & Reporting
• Ensure robust document control system across project.
• Review and approve:
• Inspection reports
