Job summary

Anarock Property Consultants is seeking a QA/QC professional to oversee quality control for construction projects in Mumbai. The role involves ensuring adherence to QA/QC systems, coordinating with vendors and third-party laboratories, and reviewing material specs from design through execution to handover.

The candidate will conduct field inspections, witness lab tests, and manage NCRs while ensuring compliance with latest codes and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA/QC for construction projects is required.
• Ability to prepare and review QA/QC documentation and QMS processes.
• Familiarity with material testing and third-party lab coordination.

Responsibilities

• Ensure QA/QC systems and processes are implemented at site.
• Monitor quality during project execution and ensure documentation is maintained.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and external labs for inspections and testing.
• Conduct site audits and review material sources and NCRs.
• Oversee witness testing and proper closure of defects.

Strategic Roles & Responsibilities

Quality Assurance and Quality Control for all Projects Material testing, Quality Document review, QAP Document Preparation and updation, QMS documentation, Contractor/Vendor evaluation, Internal Audits, Field inspection, Construction material source approval, witness of field as well as third party laboratory tests, NCR creation for defects and closure, Monitor third party inspections and dispatch clearance, Control on execution activities at Site – Execution and handover Stage

Quality Assurance and Quality Control for all works related to Project execution:

1. Preparation & Implementation of QMS documents
2. SOP preparation for construction activities and implementation
3. Review of QAP’s submitted by vendors/contractors
4. Preparation of detailed Material Specifications and implementation plans right from Design to Tendering to Execution Stage
5. Concrete Mix designs, Paver block mix design, etc.
6. Testing of raw materials to conform to specifications
7. Approval of RMC sources for concrete supply to projects and controlling them from time to time through various checks
8. Approval of various material sources such as, but not limited to, aggregates, steel, admixtures, cement, bitumen, etc.
9. Identify NCR and record at site
10. Suggest and approve rectification procedure
11. Contractor/vendor Evaluation
12. Site Audits (Process and product)
13. witness of field as well as third party laboratory tests
14. Monthly Quality Reporting, Standard Deviation Controls, rectification, and repair measure identifications, etc.
15. Conduct quality training and awareness to staff and worker
16. Project handing over document review and approval
17. Monitor third party inspections, review IR and Dispatch clearance
18. Construction material Source approval
19. Identify good and best practices for sites and implementation

Operational Responsibilities

1. Ensure the implementation of company laid QA/QC systems /processes at site including documentation
2. Monitor quality aspects during project execution, Compliance of quality, necessary documentation, and records
3. Sound knowledge of latest codes of practices in civil engineering, FFS and PEB works
4. Sound Knowledge on field inspections and laboratory testing’s

People Management

1. Collaboration with vendors and contractors,
