Job summary

PeopleStrong seeks a QA/QC professional with civil engineering expertise to oversee quality plans, inspection and test plans, and method statements on hydropower and underground projects.

You will drive audits, ensure compliance with IS/ASTM standards, coordinate with clients and consultants, and deliver monthly quality reports while maintaining robust document control and risk management across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering (Mandatory).
• M.Tech in Structures/Geotechnical/Hydropower (preferred).
• Certification in Quality Management / ISO Auditor / NDT is an advantage.
• Experience in QA/QC for hydropower and dam projects is desirable.
• Ability to manage documentation and lead audits across projects.

Responsibilities

• Approve and monitor QA Plans (QAP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), and Method Statements; ensure compliance with contract specs and standards.
• Ensure comprehensive QC for concrete works, underground works, dams, and steel formwork; oversee material testing and NDT results.
• Maintain robust document control; prepare monthly quality reports and KPI dashboards; ensure traceability of quality records.
• Identify and mitigate quality risks; integrate QA/QC with EHS and project planning; support risk management.
• Lead quality review meetings; act as single point of contact for quality with clients, consultants, and inspectors.
