Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in project management, preferably in material handling systems or steel fabrication.
• BE in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely completion of projects within approved budgets, agreed timelines, and contractual requirements.
• Conduct project review meetings with engineering, production, procurement, quality, and site teams. Monitor project progress, identify risks, implement corrective actions, and provide periodic updates to management.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout project execution, manage customer expectations, and resolve technical and execution-related issues.
• Monitor project costs against approved budgets and estimated project margins, identify cost overruns, and implement corrective measures to maintain profitability.
• Identify project risks related to material availability, design, manufacturing, logistics, and site execution; develop mitigation plans and escalate critical risks promptly.

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills and Experience

• Qualification: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 12+ years of relevant experience in project management, preferably in material handling systems, conveyor systems, steel fabrication, or engineering projects.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of conveyor systems and other material handling equipment.
• Understanding of mechanical drawings, fabrication processes, engineering specifications, and quality inspection procedures.
• Familiarity with project scheduling tools such as MS Project or Primavera, along with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of project costing, budget control, risk management, and project documentation.
• Strong client relationship management and contract coordination skills.
