Job summary

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. is seeking a BE/ME (Electrical and Electronics) professional with 5-7 years of experience to manage vehicle programs from concept to SOP.

The role emphasizes complete vehicle E&E systems, diagnostics, CAN/LIN networking, and SW maturity, with exposure to distribution, starting/charging, lighting, and controls. Responsibilities include cross-functional liaison, project timing, risk management, and governance of gateway deliverables, with opportunities to influence design

Qualifications

• Handled minimum one vehicle program from concept stage to SOP.
• Strong knowledge of complete vehicle electrical and electronic systems and SW maturity diagnostics and trouble shooting.
• Experience with E&E aggregates in vehicles: distribution, starting/charging, lighting, controls; SW maturity an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge in vehicle electronics and in-vehicle networking: BCM, ABS/ESP, Airbag/Infotainment; CAN & LIN protocols.

Responsibilities

• Liaison with Platform team and VES COEs to ensure program-defined TCP meet targets.
• L1 to L4 timeplan preparation and monitoring; communicate revisions to COEs.
• Project risk monitoring and escalation to GPHs/Delivery heads/Vertical Heads/President.
• Gateway deliverables tracking, activity monitoring and closure; represent GPHs in NPQ meetings.
• Software releases tracking in line with MPDS Gateway.
• IMCR, field concerns consolidation and monitoring for implementation.
• Monitor supplier end development activities and elevate critical concerns.
• Monitor and publish validation, RGA, plant-specific concerns reports to internal team.
• Investment and material cost monitoring; communicate to central budget management and escalate deviations.
• Support for NDA/PR-PO/Contract/Service agreement preparation and IPR registration.

CMTCP monitoring – Timeline and Performance

Circulate Project MIS report to leadership team

Maintain and publish project specific - single issue list and follow-up for closure

Support for new Program scope finalization and Budget estimation

Support for E-BOM release and build intent sign off for respective builds

Support for Parts tracking for vehicle build requirement in co-ordination with CDMM

Monitor supplier end development activities and elevate critical concerns

Monitor and publish – Validation, RGA, Plant specific concerns reports to internal team

Investment and Material Cost to be monitored and communicate to central budget management team and elevate for deviation

IMCR, Field concerns - consolidation and monitoring for implementation

Monitor and manage resource utilization

Standardization - within projects

Support for NDA/PR-PO/Contract/ Service agreement preparation, IPR Registration and Approval tracking

General Requirements

Handled minimum one vehicle program from Concept stage to SOP

Good in complete vehicle Electric electronic systems & SW maturity diagnostics and trouble shooting

Experienced in E&E aggregates in the vehicle- Distribution system, WH , Starting & Charging system, Lighting system and switches, Electronic and controls , SW Maturity is added advantage

Basic level knowledge in Vehicle electronics & In Vehicle networking systems - Body control module, ABS/ESP, Airbag &Infotainment, Communication protocols like CAN & LIN
