Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited is seeking a seasoned PMO professional to drive governance and execution monitoring across product development programs in Pune.

You will ensure alignment with roadmaps, oversee planning, risk management, milestones, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination, while providing leadership with timely status reports.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in PMO or product development governance.
• MBA or equivalent qualification.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and reporting to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Drive governance and execution monitoring across Product Development programs, ensuring alignment with roadmaps and business priorities.
• Implement and maintain project management frameworks including planning, milestone tracking, gateway reviews, risk and issue management, and performance reporting.
• Provide program-level visibility to leadership through timely reporting of project status, risks, dependencies, milestones, and actions.
• Monitor schedule adherence, progress, quality deliverables, and launch readiness across development projects and technology initiatives.
• Conduct periodic reviews to identify risks, resource constraints, process gaps, and bottlenecks affecting delivery.
• Escalate critical issues and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders for timely resolution and recovery actions.
• Support resource planning and capacity tracking, highlighting utilization gaps to management.
• Monitor budgets, expenditures, and resource utilization to ensure adherence to plans and guidelines.
• Facilitate governance meetings and project reviews, ensuring closure of action items and follow-up on decisions.
• Support risk identification and mitigation by maintaining risk registers and tracking mitigation plans.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, Purchasing, and Program teams for effective execution and milestone achievement.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, PMO best practices, SOP adherence, and capability enhancement across teams.

• Conduct periodic project reviews to identify execution risks, resource constraints, process gaps, and bottlenecks affecting program delivery.
• Escalate critical project issues and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to facilitate timely resolution and recovery actions.
• Support resource planning and capacity tracking across Product Development functions, highlighting utilization gaps and resource constraints to management.
