Arvind Limited, based in Ahmedabad, India, is seeking a Manager for Capex Procurement in the MEP-Procurement & Materials unit. This onsite role will own end-to-end capex sourcing, supplier coordination, and commercial evaluations to support timely project delivery.

The ideal candidate brings 5–10 years of procurement experience in capex and strong stakeholder management, with a focus on cost control and process discipline. Onsite work in Corporate (Naroda) is expected.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of procurement experience in capital expenditure projects.
• Experience coordinating with internal stakeholders and vendors.
• Exposure to contract management and procurement controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end capex procurement from requirement capture to order closure.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to define project needs, timelines and approvals.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for competitive terms and compliance.
• Prepare procurement comparisons and evaluation notes for decisions.
• Track purchase orders and delivery schedules to ensure material availability.
• Monitor supplier performance and escalate risks affecting cost/timeline.
• Maintain procurement documentation and records as per controls.

Role Summary

You will join Arvind Limited — MEP-Procurement & Materials as Manager, Capex Procurement, based in Ahmedabad, and own procurement execution for capital expenditure requirements. In this M1 individual contributor role, you will manage end-to-end capex sourcing, supplier coordination, commercial evaluation, and purchase order processing while partnering closely with internal stakeholders to support timely project delivery and cost control.

• Manage end-to-end capex procurement activities from requirement capture to order placement and closure.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand project needs, specifications, timelines, and approval requirements.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to secure competitive commercial terms and compliant procurement outcomes.
• Prepare and review procurement comparisons, commercial evaluations, and recommendation notes for decision support.
• Track purchase orders, delivery schedules, and follow-ups to ensure timely material and service availability for capex projects.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve execution issues, and escalate risks that may affect project timelines or cost.
• Ensure procurement documentation, approvals, and records are maintained accurately and in line with internal controls.
• Support process discipline, cost optimization, and continuous improvement in capex procurement workflows.
