Position: Manager - Process & Proposal

Location: Ahmedabad

Experience: 10 – 12 Year

Industries: Chemical

Responsibilities

• Lead process design, sizing calculations and technology selection,
• Prepare and review PFDs, P&IDs, layouts, hydraulic calculations, control philosophy, load list and design reports.
• Handle tender and non‑tender inquiries from receipt to submission.
• Prepare BOQ/BOI, CAPEX/OPEX and project costing.
• Validate vendor quotations and perform techno‑commercial evaluations.
• Manage RFQs for electro‑mechanical equipment and packages.
• Participate in pre‑bid and post‑bid technical meetings.
• Develop proposal winning strategies and risk assessments.
• Standardize proposal tools, templates and documentation.
• Train and mentor proposal/process engineering team.
• Coordinate with management on bid status, risks, opportunities, bid‑no bid etc.
• Ensure proposal submission within timelines.
• Post order detail engineering support on BEP and detail engineering documents approval from client, cost overrun, justification of costing to the RMC, detail engineering deviation approval from client in line with bid.
