Job summary

Linde South Asia Services Pvt. Ltd. in Rourkela, Odisha, India, seeks a Manager Operations & Maintenance for onsite operations. You will monitor and optimize processes, lead the operations team, and drive safety, reliability, and cost efficiency at site.

The role requires a engineering degree with 10–14 years' experience in continuous ASU plants; you must be an end user of SAP and GDMS and possess strong presentation skills. This is an on-site, permanent position with the LSAS working scheme.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering with 10–14 years in operations and maintenance of continuous ASU plants.
• Experience as SAP and GDMS end user.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control processes using APCS/DCS; optimize plant operations for reliability and cost.
• Troubleshoot process disturbances and take necessary actions.
• Ensure compliance with IP lab, FSSAI and maintain ISO/QMS certifications at site.
• Prepare monthly plant MIS and report production metrics to Plant Manager.
• Coordinate with maintenance to minimize unscheduled downtime via condition monitoring.
• Lead shift management with shift engineers and assistants.

Making an impact. What will you do?

• In this role you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling processes using APCS/DCS system, start-stop & optimization of plant using productivity tools, ensuring lowest cost of production and changing mode of plant per need of liquid or gases and ensuring no upsets
• Further you will be responsible for conducting troubleshoot in cases of process related problem/process disturbances and necessary action whenever required
• Additionally, you will be responsible for statutory compliance, IP lab compliance, FSSAI compliance and sustaining QMS certification (ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 1800) at site and you will act as site safety champion, Cooling Water treatment champion and MOC coordinator
• Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing monthly plant MIS on all production parameters and sharing entire consolidated plant report to Plant Manager and higher management
• Coordinating with the maintenance team to ensure no unscheduled breakdowns through condition monitoring calculating efficiency of the machines and plant performance is a part of your responsibility
• Moreover, you are in-charge for leading shift management with help of other shift engineers and shift assistance

• You have a bachelors/master's in any engineering branch with ten-fourteen (10-14) years' experience in operations and maintenance of continuous ASU plants
• Further you are an end User of SAP and GDMS
• You have strong presentation skills
