Job summary

Linde India is seeking a Manager - O&M to oversee 24x7 plant operations, perform quick trouble shooting, and support maintenance per process safety and SHEQ standards. The role includes training juniors and aligning the organization with industry best practices.

The ideal candidate has an Engineering degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Instrumentation with 7–10 years in chemical or fertilizer operation, strong commercial skills, and the ability to manage large ASU schemes and customer relationships.

• Experience in 24x7 plant operation and process safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Support 24x7 plant operation across shifts and troubleshoot trips.
• Act proactively to prevent plant trips by monitoring critical parameters.
• Improve plant reliability with swift actions alone or with team.
• Coordinate with customers for product requirements and communication.
• Ensure operation standards, rules, safety measures and continuous improvement.
• Prepare monthly reports and conduct efficiency calculations.

Making an impact. What will you do?

• You will support for plant operation job in all shifts (Morning / Evening / Night) along with troubleshooting of plant if it has tripped
• You will use your ability to act proactively for any critical parameter of plant operation so that Plant/ machine will not tripp plant trippage can be avoided
• In this role you will be responsible for improving reliability of plant by taking swift actions in operation alone or with seniors and juniors
• You will co-ordinate customer for hassle free communication for their product requirement
• Further in this role you will support operation department to follow all standards, rules regulations, safety for improvement of person and plant
• You will be responsible for monthly reports, efficiency calculations
• Also you will take care training of junior engineer for plant understanding and running it in efficient way

• Should have a degree of Engineering Chemical/ mechanical/ Instrumentation, additionally applications experience will be an added advantage with seven to ten (7 to 10) years’ experience in operation department of any chemical / fertilizer industry ASU will be preferable
• Own high level commercial skills and acumen
• Required to have an ability to understand and articulate large ASU schemes and diagnostic skills related to the customer portfolio
• In addition, you need an advanced negotiation capability with superior, contract management skills combined with exceptional customer relationship abilitie
