Job summary

Linde South Asia Services Pvt. Ltd. in Dahej, Gujarat, India, is hiring an Associate Manager for Operations and Maintenance to lead onsite processes and ensure reliable automation and control systems.

The role requires monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing plant performance in a demanding process environment. The ideal candidate has a Diploma/Bachelor in Instrumentation, Process Automation, or IT, with 4–7 years in plant instrumentation & process control maintenance or engineering, and

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Information Technology or Process Automation.
• 4 to 7 years of experience in a related process plant Instrument & Process Control maintenance or engineering role.
• Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management System preferably SAP PM or EAM.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control processes using ACS/DCS systems to meet onsite requirements.
• Address customer and liquid requirements for merchant market using field rounds, data analysis and trending.
• Optimize plant operation processes with productivity tools to ensure lowest cost of production.

Making an impact. What will you do?

• Inthis job role you have to monitor and control processes using ACS/DCSsystem and to the best of ability to meet the onsite
• Thenyou have to deal with customer requirements and liquid requirements forthe merchant market- using visual observation viafield round,process data analysis and trending and other method
• Youhave to Optimize of plant operation process using productivity tools andensure lowest cost of production
• Moreover youhave to conduct troubleshooting in cases of process relatedproblem/process disturbances and necessary actionwhenever required
• Youwill be responsible for helping in sustaining QMS certification (ISO 9001,14001, OHSAS 1800) in carrying out
  the required action as per standard applicable area
• Youhave to update P&ID / SWD documents, supportPlant Manager perhis requirements, manage & supervise contractors for AutomationSystems related work operations, bypassingof any interlocks againsta permit to work, monitor correct function of automation systems
• Youhave to ensure proper calibration of instruments and analytical systemsmaintenance,ensure adequate vendor/contractor support for automationwork, Define/ maintain required spares
• Afterthat you have to Implement Preventive /Predictive Maintenance activitiesand ensure they are carried out
• Again,you have to ensure predictive maintenance equipment is operational,related services are in place and activities arecarried out
• Ensurecompliance to local regulations and obtain necessary approvals
• Furthermore,you have to define scope of work for major turnaround, ensure availabilityof required material and services forautomation, Initiateengineering management of change process for modifications
• Youhave to support the execution of the modifications from Alerts, LFRE anddirectives; Update and maintain as-built
  drawings

Winning in your role. Do you have what it takes?

• You have a Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Information Technology or ProcessAutomation
• And you should have experience four to seven (4 to 7) years in a related process plant Instrument & Process Control maintenance orengineering role
• You should have experience of using Computerized Maintenance Management System preferably SAP PM or EAM
