Job summary

Linde South Asia Services Pvt. Ltd. in Bhilai seeks a Manager - O&M to lead 24x7 plant operation, troubleshoot rapid startups, and drive safety and SHEQ standards across the site.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in chemical/mechanical/instrumentation.
• 7–10 years of operation department experience in chemical/fertilizer industry preferred.
• Strong commercial skills and contract management abilities.
• Excellent customer relationship skills and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Support 24x7 plant operation across shifts (Morning/Evening/Night).
• Troubleshoot plant trips and proactively manage critical operation parameters to avoid tripping.
• Improve plant reliability through swift actions in operations with team members.
• Coordinate with customers for product requirements and clear communication.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and SHEQ practices; assist in process safety.
• Prepare monthly reports and efficiency calculations for management.
• Train junior engineers to understand plant operations and run efficiently.

Making an impact. What will you do?

• You will support for plant operation job in all shifts (Morning / Evening / Night) along with troubleshooting of plant if it has tripped
• You will use your ability to act proactively for any critical parameter of plant operation so that Plant/ machine will not tripp plant trippage can be avoided
• In this role you will be responsible for improving reliability of plant by taking swift actions in operation alone or with seniors and juniors
• You will co-ordinate customer for hassle free communication for their product requirement
• Further in this role you will support operation department to follow all standards, rules regulations, safety for improvement of person and plant
• You will be responsible for monthly reports, efficiency calculations
• Also you will take care training of junior engineer for plant understanding and running it in efficient way

• Should have a degree of Engineering Chemical/ mechanical/ Instrumentation, additionally applications experience will be an added advantage with seven to ten (7 to 10) years’ experience in operation department of any chemical / fertilizer industryASU will be preferable
• Ownhigh level commercial skills and acumen
• Requiredto have an ability to understand and articulate large ASU schemes anddiagnostic skills related to the customer portfolio
• In addition, you need an advanced negotiationcapability with superior, contract management skills combined with exceptionalcustomer relationship abilitie
