Job summary

Aurobindo Pharma in India seeks a senior Lean professional to lead continuous improvement initiatives across the unit. You will drive Kaizen culture, design KPIs, train teams on lean tools, and coordinate with operators to site leadership to share best practices.

The ideal candidate has 10-14 years in Lean, pharma exposure is a plus, and will mentor teams, implement 5S, AM, and problem-solving methods to enhance operations at the site.

Qualifications

• Experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement across a pharmaceutical facility.

Responsibilities

• Create continuous improvement culture in the unit through Kaizen initiatives.
• Design and implement KPIs as suitable to the unit as per guidelines issued by corporate office.
• Coordinate various meetings of different levels of employees from operators to site leadership team.
• Initiate and facilitate process improvement projects.
• Train the employees on basic lean quality tools.
• Collect and analyse data from all departments.
• Act as a point of contact between corporate team and site leadership team in sharing best practices among the units.
• Represent the unit along with site leadership team in monthly review meetings by top management.
• To follow and ensure compliance on Environmental Management Systems related procedures.
• understanding and implementation of lean manufacturing work practices including 5S, AM and problem solving, to drive continuous improvement activity throughout the site.
• To motivate, mentor and engage teams to enable them to take on new skills and translate into operations.
• To initiate the new kaizen ideas implementation.
• Train the employees to lean excellence culture and importance.
