Job summary

Godrej Properties Limited seeks an experienced MEP leader to drive end-to-end management of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services on large-scale real estate developments in Pune. The role requires coordinating design, procurement, and field execution across HT/LT electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, fire safety, and access control.

The ideal candidate will bring 15–20 years of MEP project experience, strong leadership, and proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and stakeholders

Qualifications

• 15-20 years of proven experience managing MEP services in large-scale real estate projects, including commercial, residential, retail, and IT parks.
• Hands-on experience with design coordination, procurement, and site execution of mechanical, electrical (HT/LT), HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, security, and access control systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in project planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple teams and vendors.
• Sound understanding of financial concepts related to project budgeting and cost control.
• Prior experience in MEP design and design review.
• Proven track record in value engineering and efficient resource utilization.
• In-depth knowledge of project management software and scheduling tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic MEP professional to lead and manage Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing services across large-scale, high-quality real estate projects including commercial, residential, retail, and IT parks. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with exceptional project management skills, ensuring seamless execution from concept through commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end management of MEP services, including design, procurement, site execution, testing, commissioning, and project closeout for HT/LT electrical installations (HV/LV systems), HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, security, and access control systems.
• Develop, plan, and monitor detailed MEP schedules, ensuring optimal allocation of time and resources for large building and township projects.
• Coordinate effectively with consultants, agencies, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth and timely execution of all MEP-related works.
• Oversee quality control and ensure adherence to industry standards and company quality systems while managing costs and project timelines efficiently.
• Drive value engineering initiatives and optimize resource utilization to maximize project profitability.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and challenges, and implement corrective actions proactively.
• Manage project budgets with a strong grasp of financial principles and project financing.
• Foster a collaborative environment that ensures all MEP works comply with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institution.
• 15-20 years of proven experience managing MEP services in large-scale real estate projects, including commercial, residential, retail, and IT parks. Strong technical knowledge across all MEP disciplines from conceptual design to commissioning.
• Hands-on experience with design coordination, procurement, and site execution of mechanical, electrical (HT/LT), HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, security, and access control systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in project planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple teams and vendors.
