Job summary

Vertex Viva in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced MEP Coordinator to manage coordination across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services for large-scale residential projects.

Candidates should have 9–14 years in MEP coordination with a strong grounding in electrical systems, PLC programming, and related disciplines. The role focuses on ensuring code compliance, effective delivery, and cross-functional collaboration on site.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical or related discipline required.
• 9–14 years of experience in MEP coordination or related field.
• Strong knowledge of MEP principles, DG sets, HT/LT panels, PLC languages.
• Residential projects experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MEP services for large-scale projects.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations for plumbing systems.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems including HVAC.
• Oversee the design and implementation of plumbing systems including drainage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless MEP integration into project delivery.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships for timely delivery of materials and services.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and implement corrective actions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) services coordination for large-scale projects.
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and regulations for plumbing systems.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including HVAC equipment.
• Oversee the design and implementation of plumbing systems, including drainage infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP services into overall project delivery.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 9-14 years of experience in MEP Coordination or related field (B.Tech / B.E. Electrical or Energy and Power Engineering preferred)..
• Diploma/B.Tech / B.E. degree in Electrical or relevant discipline.
• Proficiency in working on Residential projects and Strong understanding of Mechanical Electrical Plumbing (MEP), DG sets, SMPSs, HT & LT panels, AC & DC motors, PLC programming languages like Ladder Logic & Function Blocks.
• Strong understanding of Mechanical Electrical Plumbing (MEP) principles and practices.
