Job summary

BD India Private Limited is seeking a Marketing Manager - SM to develop and execute strategic marketing plans for our product portfolios, drive market share, revenue growth, and strengthen brand awareness in India.

You will lead cross-functional teams, conduct market research, manage product lifecycle, and collaborate with sales on tools and campaigns while ensuring regulatory compliance and a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• MBA preferred.
• 4–6 years of progressive marketing experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry."
• Strong understanding of the Indian healthcare market and regulatory landscape.
• Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing strategies for assigned product lines, aligning with global and regional objectives.
• Conduct market research, segmentation, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities.
• Manage full product lifecycle including launches and discontinuations.
• Collaborate with sales to develop tools, training materials, and promotional programs.
• Monitor market trends, sales data, and campaign performance to optimize efforts.
• Develop and manage the marketing budget for assigned portfolios.
• Build relationships with key opinion leaders and customers.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Lead and mentor marketing team (if applicable).
• Prepare and present reports to senior management.

Job Summary**

The Marketing Manager - SM will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans for specific product portfolios within Becton Dickinson India Private Limited, focusing on driving market share, revenue growth, and brand awareness. This role requires a strong understanding of the healthcare market, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibilities**

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns for assigned product lines, aligning with global and regional business objectives.
• Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify market opportunities and unmet needs.
• Manage the full product lifecycle, including product launch, promotion, and discontinuation, ensuring optimal market performance.
• Collaborate with sales teams to develop effective sales tools, training materials, and promotional programs.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, sales data, and campaign performance to optimize marketing efforts and inform future strategies.
• Develop and manage the marketing budget for assigned portfolios, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, customers, and industry associations.
• Ensure all marketing activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals (if applicable), fostering a culture of innovation and high performance.
• Prepare and present regular reports on marketing performance, market insights, and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Job Qualifications**

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in marketing, within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry preferably.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that have driven market share and revenue growth.
• Strong understanding of the Indian healthcare market, including regulatory landscape, distribution channels, and customer dynamics.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing teams.
• Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
