Qualifications

• B.Com or B.Sc; M.Com or MBA (Supply Chain) are preferred qualifications.
• Technical proficiency in ERP and MS Office, MIS reporting, shipment tracking systems, data loggers, and validated packaging.
• Familiarity with GDP, GMP, SOP adherence, pharma distribution, QA/RA collaboration and batch traceability.
• Strong leadership, vendor management, problem-solving, analytical thinking, and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute dispatch schedules aligned with forecasts and batch availability.
• Adhere to GDP, GMP, and regulatory guidelines for storage, handling, and transport.
• Oversee outbound documentation (batch release, invoices, packing lists, shipping docs) and monitor shipment tracking.
• Lead and train outbound logistics staff and ensure data integrity.
• Prepare and present reports on on-time delivery, deviations, and customer complaints.
• Coordinate with QA, Production, Planning, Sales, and Customer Service for compliant order fulfillment.

Job description

Plan, coordinate, and execute dispatch schedules aligned with sales forecasts, production releases, and batch availability, adhering to FIFO/FEFO; Ensure compliance with GDP, GMP, and regulatory guidelines for storage, handling, and transport; Ensure validated packaging, use of data loggers, and required transport conditions (including temperature control); Oversee preparation, review, and control of outbound documentation (batch release, delivery challans, invoices, packing lists, export/shipping docs); Monitor shipment tracking, temperature excursions, and delivery confirmations; investigate deviations, damages, shortages, delays with QA/RA; Manage approved transporters/service providers including qualification, performance evaluation, and compliance audits per SOPs; Control outbound inventory in ERP for accurate stock updates, batch traceability, and reconciliation; Drive continuous improvement for freight cost, route planning, packaging efficiency, and delivery performance while maintaining compliance; Lead and supervise outbound logistics staff; ensure training on SOPs, safety, and data integrity; Prepare and present periodic reports on on-time delivery, deviations, and customer complaints; Coordinate with QA, Production, Planning, Sales, and Customer Service for compliant order fulfillment; Support regulatory/customer audits by ensuring availability and integrity of outbound logistics records and documentation.

Qualifications

B.Com or B.Sc; M.Com or MBA (Supply Chain).
