Job summary

Sudarshan Cargo is seeking a senior logistics coordinator with 10-15 years of experience to manage day-to-day clearance operations and customer communications. The role involves coordinating with operations staff, tracking shipments, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth branch operations.

The candidate will interact with customers for required documents, update shipment status, and supervise the team to optimize daily clearances, reporting to the Branch Head.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily with Operational Staff regarding day's Clearances.
• Obtain updates on shipments and resolve issues.
• Interact with customers about required documents and update them on shipment status via DSRs.
• Monitor clearance status and pipeline shipments on a day-to-day basis.
• Explain clearance issues to customers and align with requirements.
• Supervise and motivate staff to optimize daily clearances.
• Report to Branch Head and seek guidance as needed.

Role & responsibilities

1. 1) Day to day co-ordination with the Operational Staff w.r.t the day's Clearances.
2. 2) Get updates on the Shipments and resolve issues if any.
3. 3) Day to day interaction with the Customers with regard to the required Documents and update them with the status of their Shipments through DSRs.
4. 4) Take stock of Shipment clearance status and Shipments in pipeline on day to day basis.
5. 5) Speak to Customers and explain the clearances issues if any and align them to the requirements.
6. 6) Supervise and monitor the day's Clearance and motivate the Operation Staff to extract the best out of them.
7. 7) Update the happenings to the Branch Head and take his concurrence and advises from time to time and follow their Advise.

Preferred candidate profile

Graduate with 10 - 15 years of Experience.
