Position: Manager – Indirect Procurement (Technical Material Services & Contracts)

Location: Corporate Office, Baner, Pune

We are looking for a seasoned procurement leader to manage Technical Services (Indirect) Procurement categories including Mechanical, Fabrication, Civil, Plumbing, Electrical, Instrumentation, AMC’s, refurbishment & repair Projects, and Contracts. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence, vendor management, and cost optimization across our plants and corporate functions.

Job Description

• Category Management: Lead Procurement for Technical Services & Contracts across Mechanical, Fabrication, Civil, Plumbing, Electrical, Instrumentation, AMC’s, etc.
• Contract Drafting & Review: Draft, review, and negotiate service agreements and technical procurement contracts.
• Risk Assessment & Compliance: Identify potential risks in technical clauses, ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards and legal requirements.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal departments (engineering, procurement, legal, finance) and external vendors or contractors. Act as a point of contact for technical contract-related queries and clarifications.
• Performance: Track contractor performance against contractual obligations, support resolution of disputes or claims related to technical deliverables.
• Cost & Budget Control: Support cost estimation and budgeting during contract formulation. Track contract-related expenditures and ensure alignment with project budgets.
• Technical Alignment: Interpret technical specifications and ensure they are accurately reflected in contracts.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 15+ years of procurement experience with 10+ years of hands‑on experience in Technical Materials Services & Contracts Procurement (Logistics, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Fabrication, Projects)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Certification in CPSM or CSCP is preferred
• Must have handled a spend of at least 100 CR
• Hands‑on experience in SAP S4 HANA (MM Module) and MS Office
• Strong knowledge of E‑Sourcing, Vendor evaluation and development
• Experience of MRO and Imports of spares & equipment is preferred
