Job summary

Aster DM Quality Care in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala seeks an experienced Manager – Hospital Operations to drive operational excellence and enhance patient experience across OPD/IPD, diagnostics, pharmacy and support services.

The role focuses on improving patient flow, resource utilisation and service quality, while ensuring regulatory compliance and leading teams to achieve KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive hospital operations experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a similar managerial role; 200+ bedded hospital experience preferred.
• MBA/MHA in Hospital or Healthcare Management preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hospital operations, quality, patient flow and service excellence.
• Exposure to NABH/NABL/JCI audits and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with clinical and non-clinical teams to resolve operational challenges.

• Lead patient safety, grievance redressal and patient-experience initiatives.
• Manage support services, vendors, facilities and service contracts.
• Monitor operational dashboards, patient volumes, utilisation, costs and performance metrics.
• Lead and develop operational teams.
