Job summary

Mavenbmc Faridabad in Chennai District is seeking a seasoned maintenance lead to supervise and optimize foundry equipment maintenance. You will oversee furnaces, moulding and core-making machines, and supporting systems, ensuring high reliability and safety.

Responsibilities include planning preventive and predictive maintenance, RCA for breakdowns, budget control, and coordinating with production and quality teams to keep operations smooth and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance activities for foundry equipment and associated systems such as furnaces, moulding machines, shot blasting equipment and cranes.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance to maximize machine availability and minimize downtime.
• Handle electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshoot, perform RCA and implement corrective actions for recurring faults.
• Prepare and monitor PM schedules, maintenance KPIs, spare-parts planning and maintenance budgets; control maintenance costs.
• Lead the maintenance team, allocate manpower, monitor performance and ensure safety and 5S compliance.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores and Engineering to ensure smooth foundry operations.
• Manage AMC/vendor coordination, spare procurement and installation/commissioning of new equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement, energy-saving initiatives and MTBF/MTTR improvements across the foundry.

• Lead maintenance activities for foundry equipment, including induction/arc furnaces, moulding & core-making machines, shot blasting, compressors, EOT cranes, hydraulic/pneumatic systems and material-handling equipment.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance to ensure maximum machine availability and minimum downtime.
• Handle electrical & mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis (RCA), and corrective actions for recurring equipment failures.
• Prepare and monitor PM schedules, maintenance KPIs, spare-parts planning and maintenance budgets; control maintenance costs and CAPEX.
• Lead the maintenance team, allocate manpower, monitor performance and ensure adherence to safety, 5S and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores and Engineering teams to ensure smooth foundry operations.
• Manage AMC/vendor coordination, spare procurement and installation/commissioning of new equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement, energy-saving initiatives, MTBF/MTTR improvement and machine reliability across the foundry.
