Job summary

Nexus Select Trust is seeking a Manager – Fire, Life & Security (Operations) to lead fire and life safety across Nexus South Malls. You will ensure regulatory compliance, manage security personnel and vendors, and coordinate emergency response to keep employees, retailers, and visitors safe.

The role requires 12–15 years of relevant experience, strong leadership, vendor management, and reporting using MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Role Summary

The Manager – Fire, Life & Security is responsible for overseeing fire safety, life safety systems, and security operations across Nexus South Malls. The role involves ensuring regulatory compliance, managing security personnel and vendors, conducting risk assessments, coordinating emergency response procedures, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, retailers, and visitors.

Required Qualifications

• MBA / Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or a related field.
• 12–15 years of relevant experience in fire safety, life safety systems, or security management, preferably in shopping malls, commercial properties, or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations, building codes, emergency response procedures, and security management practices.
• Training or certifications in fire safety, emergency response, or security management preferred.
• Ex-Servicemen preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Strong leadership, crisis management, and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of fire detection and suppression systems, CCTV surveillance, VMS, and access control technologies.
• Strong vendor management, stakeholder coordination, and liaison skills.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments, manage emergencies, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables, dashboards, and data analysis, along with MS PowerPoint for leadership presentations.
