Job summary

Bailey Square Mall is seeking a Lead Security Operations to oversee the complete security framework for the mall environment. You will manage deployment of guards across zones, implement SOPs, and coordinate with local authorities to ensure safety and compliance.

The role requires 8–12 years in mall or large-scale facility security, strong leadership and crisis-management skills, and the ability to work in shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate preferred with relevant security certifications/training.
• 8-12 years of relevant experience, preferably in a shopping mall, retail, hotel, commercial property or large-scale facility.
• Strong knowledge of security operations, CCTV, access control, emergency management and loss prevention.
• Experience in handling large security teams and third-party security agencies.
• Strong communication, leadership and crisis-management skills.
• Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays as required by mall operations.
• Candidates with mall security / retail security experience will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete security operations of Bailey Square Mall.
• Plan and deploy security guards, supervisors and personnel across all mall zones.
• Prepare and implement security SOPs, emergency response plans and access-control procedures.
• Monitor CCTV surveillance, access control, fire & life safety coordination, parking security and patrolling.
• Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments and vulnerability checks.
• Coordinate with Police, Fire Department, local administration and emergency services as required.
• Handle incidents including theft, unauthorized access, fights, medical emergencies and fire emergencies.
• Ensure proper screening and access control for employees, vendors, contractors and service personnel.
• Manage security during mall events, VIP visits and high-footfall periods.
• Conduct regular mock drills for fire, evacuation and emergencies.
• Maintain incident reports, daily security logs, visitor records and other security documentation.
• Ensure compliance with mall security policies and statutory requirements.
• Train security personnel on customer handling, emergency response, communication and security protocols.
• Work closely with Mall Operations, Facility, Housekeeping, Leasing, Marketing and Retailer teams to maintain a safe customer experience.
• Monitor security manpower performance, attendance, grooming and discipline.
• Review security agency performance and ensure deployment as per approved manpower requirements.

Candidate Profile
