Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise implementation of security policy and procedures.
• Handle day-to-day operational services including physical security management.
• Investigate security incidents and draft reports.
• Conduct training programs for the security team.
• Ensure compliance with vendor agreements.
• Ensure security strength meets defined posts and vendor agreements; SOC to be manned 24/7.
• Organize/train security team programs; recruit, train, and manage welfare.
• Process vendor bills after due controls on documents/attendance records.
• Perform checks on fire safety controls and equipment during emergencies.
• Engage security agency to deliver quality services as per SLA and vendor compliance.

Job Description

• To supervise implementation of security policy and procedures at premise.
• To supervise day to day operational services which include physical security management, user enquiries, SOC functioning, access control, guard management etc.
• To execute periodic controls on access card/ smart card issuance, collection, modification procedure.
• To ensure compliance with process notes issued for various security functions.
• To investigate security incidents, draft security incident reports and reporting to designated authorities.
• To ensure fulfillment of security strength as per defined posts & vendor agreement. Also to ensure SOC is manned 24/7.
• Organize/Conduct training programs on security subjects for site security team.
• Timely processing of vendor bills including monthly agency bills after executing due controls on support documents/attendance records etc.
• To perform checks on various activities executing in the domain of physical security viz. block leave process, access control process, card stock taking, security registers, self-assessment etc.
• To execute checks on Fire Safety Controls this includes FAS, Fire Hydrant System, and Sprinkler System etc. Be able to use Fire Safety Equipment during emergencies.
• To engage security agency to deliver quality services as per SLA, ensure Vendor Compliance requirement etc.
• To support fire evacuation drills, keep emergency phone numbers, emergency equipment ready for use & attend/conduct allied training programs on evacuation program.
• Recruitment, Training, Man management & Welfare of security team, executives/senior executives, – Interview, selection, training, daily briefing & ensuring discipline.

Qualifications and Skills (Required)

• Candidate should be Graduate or Diploma holder with minimum 04 years of relevant experience in physical security & fire safety OR Having good experience of minimum 06 years in similar environment.
• Certification/Training in any of the areas: physical security, fire safety, investigation, first aid etc. is needed.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good supervisory skills and ability to command man power.
• Process oriented approach.
• Good MS Word & Excel Skills.
