Mandatory Skill-Sets

• Strong knowledge of CP mechanical equipment and maintenance practices
• Hands‑on experience in preventive, breakdown, and condition‑based maintenance
• Proven experience in project execution, plant modifications, and system improvements
• Sound knowledge of spare parts planning, inventory control, and maintenance budgeting
• Ability to perform equipment failure analysis and implement CAPA
• Strong manpower planning, leadership, and team management skills
• Good coordination skills with Production and E&I departments
• Knowledge of ISO systems, TPM, and 5S implementation
• Strong focus on safety compliance and promotion of a zero‑accident culture

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure maximum availability and reliability of CP plant mechanical equipment
• Plan, execute, and monitor preventive and breakdown maintenance activities
• Lead plant modification works and mechanical project execution activities
• Monitor equipment condition, analyse performance, and drive reliability improvement initiatives
• Coordinate with Production and E&I departments for smooth and efficient plant operations
• Manage departmental manpower based on job priorities and plant requirements
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and leadership to engineers, supervisors, and technicians
• Prepare, monitor, and control monthly maintenance and spare parts budgets
• Plan spare parts requirements and manage inventory effectively
• Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Drive implementation of ISO systems, TPM, and 5S practices within the department
• Ensure strict adherence to safety rules and actively promote a zero‑accident culture
• Optimize utilisation of available resources to improve productivity, reliability, and cost efficiency
