Trane Technologies plc in India is seeking a field-based sales professional to champion HVAC and chiller solutions for data centers at customer sites. This role directly supports the Data Center vertical and requires deep technical understanding and strong client-facing skills.

You will engage with DC accounts and stakeholders, negotiate effectively, and translate evolving chiller technologies into clear, actionable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, especially chillers.
• Understanding of Data Center customer ecosystem.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to present solutions clearly to customers.
• Experience in DC or chiller sales is preferred.

Field-based: Work is conducted on-site at customer locations.

• Role Criticality & Business Impact This position directly supports the Data Center vertical.
• Key Skill Requirements
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, especially chillers, is mandatory.
• Candidate must understand:
• Data Center customer ecosystem
• Key DC accounts and stakeholders
• Evolving chiller technologies and innovations
• Needs to be technically inclined (technocrat) with the ability to present solutions clearly.
• Sales & Customer Handling Expectations Must possess excellent negotiation skills and strong stakeholder management capabilities.Should be comfortable handling large-scale, high-stake customer conversations.Ability to respond quickly to customer requirements—they expect fast turnaround and solution clarity.Should be agile, adaptive, and a fast learner due to the rapidly evolving DC environment.
• Experience Band
• Preferred experience: 12+ years in HVAC/chiller sales candidate brings strong DC or chiller exposure.
