Job Overview

Lead business acquisition and space leasing across agro-commodities (fruits, vegetables, seeds, spices, dairy, and processed foods) in Western Maharashtra (Satara, Sangli, Kolhapur, Pune belt).

Key Responsibilities

• Client Acquisition: Identify and onboard farmers, traders, FPOs (Farmer Producer Organizations), exporters, food processing companies, and dairy/meat suppliers to utilize cold room capacity.
• Capacity Utilization: Ensure year-round high-occupancy rates of all cold chambers through seasonal planning and multi-commodity sourcing.
• Market Intelligence: Track commodity harvesting seasons, Mandi/APMC market trends, storage rental rates, and competitor offerings across the region.
• Contract Management: Draft storage agreements, negotiate storage tariff structures (per kg/box/day), and oversee customer onboarding.
• Client Relationship Management: Address client queries regarding stock preservation, resolve disputes, and maintain long-term client retention.

Requirements & Skills

• Proven track record in B2B sales in cold storage, warehousing, supply chain, or agro-commodity trading.
• Strong network among local APMC traders, exporters, or food processing industries in Maharashtra.

• Fluent in Marathi, Hindi, and English.

• Willingness to travel locally across APMC markets and agricultural belts.
