Job summary

Sunkind Energy in Gurugram seeks an experienced professional to lead investment analysis, financial modelling, and asset strategy for renewable energy projects.

You will build project finance models, evaluate acquisitions, and prepare materials for investment committees, with close collaboration with the Founder’s Office on strategic initiatives. MBA/CA/CFA/FRM with 7–12 years in infrastructure finance is preferred.

Qualifications

• MBA/CA/CFA/FRM/B.Tech + Finance specialization.
• 7–12 years experience in renewable energy, infra finance, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or IPPs.
• Strong expertise in advanced Excel financial modelling and valuation.

Responsibilities

• Build and own detailed project finance and valuation models for solar, BESS, hybrid, and infrastructure assets.
• Evaluate acquisitions, disinvestments, strategic partnerships, and portfolio monetization opportunities.
• Perform DCF, IRR, NPV, DSCR, sensitivity, and scenario analysis.
• Lead financial due diligence, transaction structuring, and investment committee materials.
• Prepare investor presentations, IMs, teasers, and fundraising models.
• Support equity raise, debt raise, refinancing, and strategic capital transactions.
• Evaluate PPA-backed operating assets, under-construction assets, and greenfield opportunities.
• Work directly with Founder s Office on strategic initiatives.

Sunkind Energy is looking for a highly driven professional to lead investment analysis, financial modelling, valuation, acquisitions, divestments, and strategic capital initiatives across solar, BESS, and renewable infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and own detailed project finance and valuation models for solar, BESS, hybrid, and infrastructure assets
• Evaluate acquisitions, disinvestments, strategic partnerships, and portfolio monetization opportunities
• Perform DCF, IRR, NPV, DSCR, sensitivity, and scenario analysis
• Lead financial due diligence, transaction structuring, and investment committee materials
• Prepare investor presentations, IMs, teasers, and fundraising models
• Support equity raise, debt raise, refinancing, and strategic capital transactions
• Evaluate PPA-backed operating assets, under-construction assets, and greenfield opportunities

Qualifications

• Strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills

Preferred Background

• Candidates from firms such as EY, KPMG, PwC, Deloitte, infrastructure funds, investment banks, or renewable IPPs preferred.
