Responsibilities

• Lead project finance and financial closure for renewable energy projects.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Project Finance & Treasury professional to manage project funding, financial closure, debt raising, lender management, treasury operations and liquidity management for our IPP / Renewable Energy portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project finance and financial closure for renewable energy projects.
• Develop and review project finance models, financial projections and funding structures.
• Manage relationships with banks, DFIs, NBFCs, debt funds and institutional lenders.
• Coordinate lender appraisal, due diligence, sanction and financial documentation.
• Manage debt drawdowns, equity infusion, project funding and cost-to-complete.
• Manage treasury operations, liquidity and cash flow across HoldCo and project SPVs.
• Monitor debt repayments, interest obligations, DSRA, covenants and debt maturities.
• Manage lender compliance and covenant tracking including DSCR / ICR.
• Manage Bank Guarantees, Letters of Credit and non-fund-based facilities.
• Evaluate refinancing, repricing and debt restructuring opportunities.
• Monitor financing costs, interest rate exposure and overall cost of debt.
• Prepare project finance models and sensitivity analysis covering tariff, CAPEX, generation, interest rates, debt tenor and project delays.
• Support financial due diligence and financing for project acquisitions / M&A.
• Prepare treasury and project finance MIS for senior management.

Candidate Profile:

• CA / MBA Finance with 10 - 17 years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience in Project Finance, Debt Raising and Treasury.
• Experience in Renewable Energy / Power / Infrastructure / EPC / IPP.
• Proven exposure to financial closure of large projects.
• Strong lender management experience with banks, DFIs and NBFCs.
• Excellent knowledge of project finance modelling, debt structuring and financial covenants.
• Hands-on experience in debt drawdown, refinancing, DSRA, BG/LC and liquidity management.
• Exposure to multiple project SPVs will be preferred.
• Experience in solar, wind, hybrid, BESS / FDRE projects will be an advantage.
